Pantry Cannabis and Organic Ingredients

Pantry could not be happier to partner with The Polit Family who started their small, family owned and operated farm in 1983, on the fertile land of Colusa and Glenn County, in sunny California. After over 30 years of love and dedication, they now grow and press many varietals of certified organic olives and olive oils.  Fresh from the groves to their brand new Alfa Laval olive mill, they are able to control every aspect of the process to achieve the highest quality organic EVOO.

Pantry for Sleep

Pantry developed a product specifically for sleep, the Nite Bites. It’s crafted with ancient adaptogens, which have been around and used for thousands of years, the minor cannabinoid CBN which is thought to help sleep, and just a touch of melatonin.

Pantry for Relaxation

Relaxation and rest are critical to maintaining a healthy and happy body. When we relax, our blood flow increases around our body giving us more energy. It helps us to have a calmer and clearer mind which aids positive thinking, concentration, memory and decision making. Pantry incorporates naturally relaxation-promoting ingredients into their superfood blends.

Ashwagandha has been used in herbal medicine for a variety of ailments for hundreds of years. Today, it’s common to consume the plant for anxiety relief and stress. One study examined a group of 64 people, some taking ashwagandha and some taking a placebo.  In the non-placebo group, there was a reported 69% decrease in anxiety levels and insomnia, too! Another 6-week study showed an 88% reduction in anxiety compared to 50% of those who took a placebo.

L-Theanine is an amino acid that is found in green tea. It is known for its calming and relaxing effects, which is why it is often used as an ingredient in cannabis products. When used in cannabis, L-theanine can help to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. Additionally, L-theanine may also improve the quality of sleep.

Passionflower is an herb that has been used for centuries to help with relaxation. Passionflower is thought to work by increasing levels of a neurotransmitter called gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA is known to have calming effects, and so passionflower is often used as a natural remedy for anxiety and insomnia. Passionflower is also sometimes used in cannabis products, as it is thought to enhance the plant's relaxing effects.

Valerian root is an herb that has been used for centuries to promote relaxation. The active ingredient in valerian root, called valerenic acid, is thought to work by increasing levels of a neurotransmitter called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA helps to regulate nerve activity and promotes relaxation.

Pantry for Immune System

The immune system has a vital role– to protect our bodies from harmful substances and germs that can make you ill. There are many natural ingredients that can bolster the immune system that Pantry has incorporated into their superfood blends:

  • Hericium erinaceus, aka lion’s mane, is a type of mushroom thought to promote brain health and potentially protect against dementia, reduce depression, boost your mood, and maybe even repair nerve damage.
  • Curcumin, found in turmeric, is thought to have powerful anti-inflammatory effects and majorly boost the immune system. It has immunomodulation effects, aka the ability to influence the immune system, according to various pieces of research.

Golden milk spice blend, turmeric is the reason behind the name “golden tea”, because the plant’s bright orange color will change the color of your food, but it’s not the only ingredient! You’ll also find the immune-boosting spices ginger, cinnamon and cloves featured in Pantry Good Day Bite.
